IGI was founded in 1978 by Prof. Albrecht Grimm. Since then, the engineering company has specialized in the design and development of guidance, precise positioning, attitude determination and sensor management systems for aerial survey flight missions. Our products integrate modern technology and expertise know-how.

IGI is a worldwide leader with its specialized products. It has been the first to introduce a flight management system for sensor flights worldwide. Therefore, the name CCNS has become a synonym for it.

The hardware solutions come with perfectly integrated software packages for easy and efficient use.

During the past 20 plus years IGI has helped customers around the world to lower their material and personnel costs, significantly reduce flying time and boost productivity and profitability.

The IGI premises is located in the small town of Kreuztal near Siegen. It is situated closely to the highway A45, which makes travels to the international airports of Cologne, Duesseldorf and Frankfurt very easy.
